SCAM - claim to be working for o2 to offer a discount, they are obviously trying to SIM swap or login to account as they already have your mobile number they can get an o2 security text message sent to your phone. The text message is legitmate BUT you must not give them the code. It even says in the message never to share the code with anyone. They need the code to access your account. DON'T LET THEM!

Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! It is High time BT themselves did something about this type of call as it has been going on for a very long time.Do not be fooled, it is a SCAM which potentially will relieve you of large amounts of your money!!

SCAM. Probably from the same source as 1656737322, a call to my landline. The well spoken, but recorded voice, told me that two suspicious transactions had been noted on my account (no introduction as to who she represented) and that I should take one of two actions. Either press "1" to cancel them or "2" to speak to a service advisor. I left the call open for ten minutes but there was no further communication from the caller. Why Bridgend exchange? I have no idea.

Just received this call which said that I had installed something on my home phone number which was sounds or something. I put the phone down and did no more but this is not something I have requested and I think could be dangerous. I am hiping that I have not been charged anything but will need to check my bill when it arrives.

When i try to find out who it is, then i see that there is no particular information about the caller. So, UK you won't get a bite from me no matter how many times you call me. Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.

I am registered with TPS and would never consider buying from a company that refuses to respect that request for privacy. Apart from anything else, a lack of respect for the law in this one respect suggests they may be less than law abiding in others (e.g. building regulations!).
