This number called me, women knew my name, then when I confirmed it (stupidly!) she hung up!!

Called to say I had been working in a factory in Blackburn and had health issues. I asked what details they hold and specify the health issues - they could only confirm the name and mobile number. Very rude person & called back numerous times.

Keeps calling to say I ve won ?10,000 then talks about a survey I have no idea about. Foreign caller who doesn t listen. Stay well away.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

This is just to get you to phone your dentist regarding appointments. Nothing sinister - no call charge involved to you

It turned out to be another request for possible PPI refund.
