SCAM 01227631995 - had a call from this number claiming to be from Amazon regarding a Gift Casrd purchase for £49+ made supposedly by me from an address in London. Having never bought a gift card nor having anything to do with this address I told the caller so, and also said that this is a scam call, to which he hung up. I have had several similar calls to this one for varying amounts and each time I am quoted the same London address. Clearly this is a scam and should be avoided at all costs.

I love these guys, I keep them on the phone as long as possible to waste their time. I m really nice to them and try to sound terrified at what they are telling me, you can have some real fun trying to keep them on the line.

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. i answered call it was a womans voice with a foriegn accent ..i asked who is calling and what the call was about..and was met with silence so i hung up ...so its either spam or scam call.don,t answer.
Automated message saying something about some suspicious activity in my name and wanted me to press 1 to connect to the officer concerned. It said I wouldn’t be able to use my national insurance number if I didn’t press 1 and talk to the officer. Didn’t mention my name if any details, and hung up after 30 seconds. Seems like a phishing scam.
