We called them and they promised to take her number off their list. You can always contact them on 0800 0194557 - dial the number without the first 0 from mobiles and it registers as a free call

THIS NUMBER COMES FROM A COMPANY CALLED CAPITA COMPUTERLAND
SCAM / SPAM Number called at 2pm saying it was the income tax department and I've been caught doing tax fraud and I should press 1 to speak to the agent dealing with my case. If I don't press 1 I will be arrested soon. Hung up and searched but can't find a record of the number. I've committed no fraud so not worried but people shouldn't receive these calls.

Called about an overpayment on a loan I never had in 2011. Scammers to be sure. Quickly ended the call after the mention of a loan.
Dubious call pre-recorded suggesting that due to BT Theft my phone would be cut off unless i gave my details to them by pressing one on my phone - i havent been with BT for a long time!

probably a mask for a real number from abroad. Caller had Indian Accent and it was the well known "Windows Technician Scam" (try Google if you do not know about this scam)
