Just received a call. First from this number. The caller started his pitch - so I quickly interjected with a polite but firm No thank you, good bye - after which the caller repeatedly shouted F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK right up to the point where I hung up. Nice people!!

SCAM Car accident claim scam pretending to be working in association with LV. I played along with this to extract as much info as possible to warrn others. They had a surprisingly and slightly worrying amount of information and data. It would seem there might be a source at LV for this that would know car details and driver details from 2 years ago. I know this as they referred to the principle owner who has passed away during that period and held the policy. I was a named driver during their period.

SCAMMERS - PLEASE DONT FALL FOR IT! Had a call from this number claiming to be from “my bank” - they didn’t mention the name of the bank, I should have thought to ask as I don’t think he knew. Said he wanted to check that an online payment of £2500ish this morning was really made by me. Of course it wasn’t. He wanted me to get my bank card and check the phone number on the back (think the next step would have been to ‘put the phone down’ so I could dial my bank, yeah right). Asian guy rang and half way through the conversation he started to actually abuse me using the F word. And that was because I was being slightly awkward (due to the nature of the call). Nevertheless, I m sure it doesn t give him the right to start swearing down the phone. Told him he needed to be professional and brush up on his manners and he hung up (after swearing again).
