This is nothing to do with the FCA, the pension regulator should have looked at this but they tend to turn a blind eye to these scams. Lots of sceptics will have similar views but at least there is a compensation scheme for regulated screw ups of which there have been a lot.

This number called today but, unless I recognise a number, I don't answer but i then I check it out. The prefix code '+886' is from Taiwan - it's definitely some random sales call. Blocked :o)
These idiots are constantly pestering me,often hang up immediately. Offering grant for heating, ask them to send someone out to explain in person.
Kept calling every few hours, said they were from payment protection, when quizzed from which company they hung up. No further calls from them.

When I told him I worked for a financial advisor who handed all my financial needs he persisted to argue with me, after telling him three times I was not interested and to take my name off his list I ended up hanging up on him.
