Scam line. Calls are made from outside of the UK (Gold Coast), trying to get recipients to visit a scam website. The caller gets the recipient to perform some tasks on their PC, claiming that it is infected. If you ask for their number, they provide this one. If you call them back you are diverted to the caller in the Gold Coast. Do not call. Do not respond. Report this to the police.

Yesterday, I was applying for job on many web sites. they called me today and told me that my cv was nt enough professional. and they proposed to help me make a professional cv and deliver it on internet .... etc but what shocked me more is the fact they asked me to pay for that service emidiatly, and I have to pay to get registred. so I felt that there is a secret and that they want to rubb my money. so I ll not give any identity of my payement card.

Said they were from Sky. 1st lady's English was not very good and she did not understand my questions. Asked me to google speed test. Did not understand when I asked if that was all one word or 2 words, must be a question asked by others Im sure.. She passed me on to another lady and she was not much better. I ended the call as I felt sure SKY would employ people with better spoken English than this for a customer service job. This felt wrong so Im going to say its dangerouse. no evedence however.
Don't know who called but claimed I had cancelled a life insurance policy with Legal and General and I owed them money. Said I should have contacted them before cancelling the policy, but have not had cover with L&G. I hung up and they called back with another man claiming to be the manager and quoting some act from 1977. When asked to tell me what the act was called he hung up.
