The woman told me she was from a Talk Talk department and was calling about my router. After making her repeat the same thing several times I told her I had had the same or similar calls about 150 times, knew she was nothing but a criminal and.....by that time she had rung off! As usual, the number she had used for the call was as fictitious as her story. The crooks use different invented numbers each time.

Had this number call our house phone and leave a message on our answering machine, sounded like a party going on in the background, some man then said "hello" 3 times before saying either "Jamie/Janey" come on please talk to me" neither of which live here.. we dont normally answer the phone until we know who it is, we get alot of telemarketing/cold callers so calls like this seem it could be a con/trick to get you to answer the phone, i saw on another site that that number has been marked as they are debt c

I've just received a cold call from someone that claimed to be from Nationwide. They had my name, and asked for my address and PASSWORD. If this was a genuine call it is an outrage that they asked for my password during an unsolicited cold call.
