Says is Amazon customer service scam

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. FRAUD! Sent me a text saying "Hi mum I'm texting you off a friends phone I've smashed mine and their phones about to die, can you WhatsApp my new number 07960787847 please x' I suspect they are then going to ask for money but I know it's scam as I don't have kids!!!! Beware.

Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.

Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.

Amazon SCAM Prime account expired charged annual subscription call number if you have a problem. Called several times.

Definitely phishing. Rang up when she realised I was not an easy target.

This is a number local to me but I assume it has been hacked as it was a recorded message purporting to be amazon concerning an order I hadn't made. Scammers doing what they do best.
