This number called me and said my card had been used twice, first for £500, than the second for £1000 with Amazon. Obviously a scam.

I have just received a phone call on my home phone from this number. a voice (American i think) informed me they were from Amazon and that my payment of £39.99 would be taken . If I wanted to stop payment I would have to press a number on my phione keypad. I disconnected immediately and looked up the number on Google and came to this site.

Fraudulent call centre(could hear this in the background) saying I had been victim of a fraud on my Amazon account which had had £1200 charged go the credit card linked to the account. This is debt collectors calling me for a female who lived in my house before I bought it. They call usually twice a day 5 days a week. They will not listen, so the call does now not get answered, bad mannered Scots who look like they are looking for an argument. I gave them the last known address for the female they are looking for but they were only interested in shouting me down.
