Someone from this number attempted to defraud me by pretending to be a relative needing cash to repay a debt.

A recorded message asking me to press 1 to stop a fraudulent transaction taking place on my "visa" card. But I don't have a visa card anyway. Received a similar call, couple of days ago from a mobile number 07514757657.

Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. Fraud. Caller was automated message saying it was from Visa and that several payments to China had been blocked. I was to then press '1' to be put through to the Visa fraud team. I don't have any Visa cards.

SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own.
