When I told him I worked for a financial advisor who handed all my financial needs he persisted to argue with me, after telling him three times I was not interested and to take my name off his list I ended up hanging up on him. Guy with indian accent called himself "John" (obvious BS), said I was eligible for a replacement boiler under government scheme (like the Tories would do that). Told him I rent and don't have a boiler, he'd need to contact my estate agent. He had no idea what I was talking about. I repeated it a couple of times and in the end he gave up. Blocked the number so cannot comment on harrasment level but I am sure this is a scam.
Rang saying it was a solicitor and had I received my compensation. No compensation has been claimed or is due as far as I am aware. Assumed its a scam and put the phone down.
