SCAM, heard about this call before. "HMRC" wanting to talk to me about an outstanding amount, and if I didn't press 1 and be put through to the right department, then a warrant for my arrest would be issued.

Only know the number because I was randomly charged ?99.99 !! Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. Saying that there was no other warning

Cold calling wankers
Said they were calling from Domestic and General - a company we do have an account with already. Said we were a valued customer and had qualified for a discount. Said we were already covered for our TV Satellite equipment etc. We knew this was incorrect. They said we were already paying £10 by DD. Not True. Just had a call from financial justice stating that they were given my details due to PPI potential claims. I expressed that I didn t give my consent for the information to be shared with them and would like their details. Clearly they wouldn t give me that and then I looked them up online and the company was dissolved in 2014! Very fishy!!

Rang to say they were from a community safety awareness leaflet, and that I had agreed last october to renew an advert with the publication. (Which I am 99.9% certain I did not do). He then said he would get his head office to call me back with a tape recording of my agreement. I am still waiting for said head office to call me.
