This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. Called my elderly mum lying to her saying her washing machine insurance with D&G was ending. NOT ENDING! Spoke about a direct debit and then tried taking a one off payment from her?!?! From my knowledge in working in contact centres/sales I told her to stop the call and to do some research. SCAMMERS trying to rip off anyone they can. Fraudsters claiming to be "Rapid Advice Specialists" who had obtained my number from "the Traffic Accident Department" (!) which keeps, so they claimed, a record of all road accidents in the UK (!) Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!
