Asian guy going on about nuisance calls. "Well you are a nuisance call" Didn 't draw breath and carried on talking even when I tried to answer. He said I had registered with them! I denied that. Told me I should think before I speak and also that I wasn't listening to him. He had my name and address - so, he said, where would he have got them if I hadn't registered with them. I said he had stolen them. I am not a thief he shouted. Hung up and blocked the call immediately.

Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. This is a call centre based in Wales who were calling on behalf of the Vote IN campaign for the British European Referendum. The number they use has been spoofed using illegal equipment to change the number from its true origin. I have been informed from a friend who is one of the chief engineers at BT headquarters in Martlesham Suffolk that this practice is illegal as it interferes with BT's telephone exchange network.

It always calls me when I m at work so I can t answer. When I call the number back, it s just an automated response. It gives you a number to phone to get your details removed. I have phoned this number at least 10 times, and every day this number still calls me.
