Claimed to be a policeman when clearly on a call centre type area. First thing he said was "I'm a police man, what's your name" when I asked why he was calling and why he wanted my name he just repeated the "I'm a police man".

This is a scam - they claim to be HMRC (although he pronounced it HRMC!) and are asking for student tax to be paid. I told them that I am 16 and not working and therefore not eligible for tax. He - an Indian sub continent accented person - insisted I have to pay it until I informed him that I actually work for HMRC and this is a scam. He admitted it was and rang off. NOTE: I don't work for HMRC and I am not 16. BEWARE!!!!

Sounded like a call center. Gentleman with an Indian accent. Calling from 'My Preferences' when I queried this he hung up. No idea what kind of call this was! But suspect a scam of some sort.
Of this really is th e region for this number and not a mobile number I am surprised. An Asian man, said from Sky and telling me my tv warranty was due for renewal. Just another scammer!!!!

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. 01723788922 automated call at 3:24pm today, caller said they were from B.T. and that they were going to disconnect me as there was evidence of somebody tapping in to my network, and if I wanted to speak to them to press 1. At this point I blocked the call as I am not with B.T. so I knew it was a spam caller.

Received a call from this number claiming to be HMRC saying I was involved i a fraud. Assume scam.
Alleged NHS phone number for the immunisation management service. Spoke to a woman. Then I realised after having put the phone down that there is no way to check that I was actually speaking to a member of staff of the NHS. Too late! I am so fed up with receiving so many phone calls from fraudster and from the NHS for the covid experimental genetic injections.
