SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. SCAM - Claiming I ordered an iPhone 13 through Amazon, decided to play along. He requested that I put him on speaker phone so he could run through filling a form in. Asked for him to send it through email, he said I (as in myself) am not authorised for email, whatever that means. I queried again that I assume I will be notified through email, and for some reason continued to state I am not authorised. I can't believe the guy actually thought I would enter a random URL in to fill in a form, must be nuts!
Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

Fraud Attempting to gain banking details, after stating there had been unusual activity on my bank account. I had checked my account this morning , knew it to be untrue so cut off the call. they tried to ring twice more in 10 minutes but declined, then blocked. My bank unaware so reported to Action Fraud.
