Internet - trying to sell me new phone/internet contract. There were long pauses during the conversation suggesting that the call wasn't coming from Cambridge. Worringly they had my full name and number (despite being registered here there and everywhere for no calls!). In the end said I was happy with my contract and ended the call.
SCAM This number sends a text pretending to be from The HALIFAX and saying that a new payee has been added to your account, "if this was not you please visit ...." and a website url. The website is VERY genuine looking but its NOT HALIFAX and is a phishing site asking you to log in to your account. DO NOT TOUCH !!!

Told the caller I'm not interested before he could speak. He (Asian male) called me a liar. I asked what I'm lying about?! The conversation went on, with the caller becoming more aggressive by the second.

Global Computer Consumer Technical Department. A scam. Gets you to let them take over your computer. Then they will charge you to take off the virus that they put in. All Indian accents. Steer well clear. The call back 1471 says number withheld, but I got the scammer to tell me.

This is a company called "Next Step Money" based in Hull England, they claim to help you recover any unnecessary PPI charges back from your creditors, they are not the most professional company out there, I would recommend blocking them on your phone as they will harass you every day and try to force you in to doing business with them as they tried with my dad. Note: They will tell you they have your details on record but this is not the case they are just cold calling people

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.

This is the second time one of these numbers has called me. The first time a couple opf years back i went through with a personal injury claim and started to get worried when i went 6 weeks without hearing back from anyone. Eventually i was paid out £2400. I was contacted by this number 4 weeks ago and decided to go ahead again im due to have a medical appointment in 2 weeks to make sure i dont have any lasting soft tissue damage. The doctor told me if i do they will provide me with as many physio sessions
