Called my workplace and asked to speak to someone regarding our meter reading, claiming to be from British Gas. Handed them to relevant person, they then asked the relevant person to send across details of our meter (i.e. meter number) luckily relevant person had spoken to legitimate british gas over email and had already sorted this out. Relevant person came back to me and said that it was a fraudulent call and they were attempting to get our meter details. FRAUD!!

Apparently HMRC about fraud but clearly a scam. Automated call so I listened for about 5 seconds then hung up!
Clickforprotect have just informed me that due to illegal activities on my computer I am to have my computer licence revoked! Now if I let them help me then we can get rid of the threat I pose to the internet..... I never got as far as asking if it was the £180 programme I was to let them install on my computer or, because I am broke, then after a special discount it was only £80????
