I had a call off the above number but when I answered nobody said anything and shortly after the call ended! I did try calling it back but it was a recording saying "please hold the line your call will be answered by the next available agent" or

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Seems to be used for some Manchester telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 016181488xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with O2 telemarketing, but also financial services - debts, loans. Just block it

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
