I had a few missed calls from this number and Googled it as I didn t recognise it. I found lots of comments saying it was a fundraising company asking for more money for the RSPCA which I give directly to. I used the number which a couple of people provided to have my number taken off the list which is an automated service. It takes seconds, asks you to key in your number, confirms it and then says your number will be removed within 1 day. You don t have to speak to anyone at all - cold callers or customer

SCAM scammer northern woman phoned my business number and said we'd agreed to give some anti-bullying books to a school and now the books were published and we'd have to pay an invoice for £180. I told her there was no record of this at all, she then said the books were already printed, I repeated that we did no such thing and then she immediately hung up.

02032872050 An asian sounding woman called my elderly mother today from this number. Told her she was due a government grant of £8K. She asked my mum how far her post office was.They told my mum to go to the post office and draw £210. Then to call the above number but not to tell anyone the number. Fortunately my mum got confused by the call and did nothing otherwise they would have had money from her I am sure. How wicked these people are.

Rang me 9.00am presumably wanting to catch me unawares. Clearly automated voice saying This is E-on and then asked "are you......" giving my full name. I was then asked to press 1 on my phone which I ignored. It seems this may well be a breach of personal information from E-on and they need to be more pro active and at least show some interest that their customers are being placed at risk. This is the 3rd time I have been targeted by this scam.
They cold call you to try and sell insurance . Do not use them.
