Some call centre called NHM or NML, NHL or something like that. They called me on behalf on Amnesty International asking me to increase my monthly payment. Have had 7 calls from them in 2 days.
SCAM Recorded message tells you that you are under investigation for financial activity and to press 1 for more details, before an arrest warrant is issued. Had several calls like this previously, never pressed 1 yet ( and still a free citizen, surprisingly) but it's highly likely that it would connect you to a premium line and charge some indecent sum to your phone bill.
This company called and asked me if I had a mortgage on my house to which I replied no. Ye said 'so youve been mortgage free for some time then yes?' I replied 'why do you need to know this?' He told me they were offering good mortgage rates to which I replied 'well its really not relevant as I dont have one do I?' He then said I have a ''sh*tty attitude '' and hung up on me. !!!!!!!
