This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

Received calls from this number and 01156470868 within minutes of each other; neither produced an response from the caller when answered. Annoying! Blocked both for my sanity and peace from telemarketers, frauds and scammers. Hopefully the 'Cold-calling; legislation comes in soon!

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same cal
Man called telling me he was my broadband provider and that my line was being hacked. Very aggressive, threatening tone of voice. Extremely argumentative when I suggested he was lying and told me I would be cut off if I didn't do what he said. Hung up and blocked the number but why can't these people be stopped? There are 100's of complaints about this number - why can't they be prosecuted for this intimidation?

When I said it was about six years ago, she apologised and said it had to be in the last three years. Only then did I remember I am registered with the TPS. Banned the number.
