It’s a scam, claimed to be from a bank and not enough funds in bank to complete transactions. Very bad line and eventually the caller hung up, daughter rang number back and it’s not recognised.

SCAM This is a company called Secure Way Solutions using unethical methods to con people to buy Norton anti virus products. They pretended there was viruses on my computer and insisted I needed to buy a lifetime licence of £500. Avoid at all costs.

A call from Carphone warehouse, using a LOCAL code - ie - 01324 trying to deceive you into thinking it s a local call. You answer, and it s OBVIOUSLY a CALL Centre (by all the noise in the background) and on questioning the guy, is clearly NOT in the Falkirk area. This type of local call is being used more and more.
Has contacted me over 4 times in past 7 days. No message left in answering machine if in pick up. Pest.

There were no less than five calls from this number while I was out. I did not need to be told it was the criminals pestering me again as I have had so many of them. However it was confirmed next day when a call came from a slightly different number, 01614357985. Other sites informed me a large number of people had been called similarly. Called me and asked to speak to [my name]. I asked who they were, gave company name. Started trying to small talk with me so I asked the reason for the call. He then said "We re calling because of some information we ve been pass-" and then he hung up on me. Presumably he knew I couldn t be fleeced!
Got a text from TCUK for holiday deals to Africa and to call this number. Deleted right away
