Have had missed calls from this number for the past three days. No message left.
My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! I m not but want to put this out there for everyone else.

This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!! When you ask to be removed from their list they refuse and get abusive. SCAM / SPAM Scam claiming to be from Ofcom saying that my phone line has been hacked. The menu says press 1 for BT, but we're with Virgin anyway! Checked with Virgin and it's a scam number.
Again say they produce activity books for disabled children and claimed they been in touch last year and it wasn t a good time for me then so calling now as would love to have me onboard. When I had no recollection of such a conversation & explained I was with a client she ploughed on with the fact that I d see a copy of my advert to proof before it went to print etc etc. I asked what company she thought she was phoning & she stated my company name that s only been in existence for 3months so story doesn t

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
