Received a call purporting to be from BT advising that my BT Broadband was about to be shut down as my router had been hacked. Caller refused to give a call-back number and then offered to fix my router on line. 1471 check revealed 01267 60711 had not been recognised.
They keep trying to call me, even though my phone is set to reject all calls from this number and any call gets sent straight to voicemail. Occasionally get left a message with random talking in the background before they hang up.
Think it’s a scammer, they say they are looking for freelancers on behalf of an unnamed company.

This phone number (01202403707) is from a representative (Timothy Davis) of HomeLogic, a company that sells and installs LogicFoam loft insulation. It is quite safe and is not a scam. It's a cold call that tries to persuade you to install this type of loft insulation i.e. spray foam. The caller said that it's part of a Government initiative to supply every home in Britain with this type of insulation. However, I don't believe this - I suspect that this is just salesman's patter.
