SCAM Pretending to be from carphone warehouse. Hung up when I asked for my number to be removed
Received call out of the blue. Said they were from BT. Said there was a problem with my line & wanted to sort it, after 19 mins the line went dead. They wanted me to download an app, using Google store to check my tablet device ID.
SCAM Fraudsters are spoofing this number, please beware. If in doubt, hang up and call the number on a different phone, ie mobile or landline. Do not use the same phone as fraudsters can manipulate the line.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. This is a Somerset Highways telephone number. If you have made a comment, or complaint, about a road or pavement, either by email, letter or telephone, this is the generic telephone number they will call you back on. They did telephone me back later the same day. No good trying to call them back, it is not a manned line.
