But the 121 message service only catches the end of the message which asks you to press now to avoid court proceedings. Therefore this appears to be a Scam and the number should be treated with extreme caution. This is the second time in a few days I have been targeted and the number also had 07738 prefix but followed by 207964

Apparently from Scottish Government in relation to Ipsos Mori survey, wanting to do a survey of my home. I don’t know the number so I’m not answering. If it’s that bloody important, LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I CAN PHONE YOU BACK!!!! Have called multiple times a day for over a week. It’s getting annoying.

BT Call Guardian took care of it as the spammers/scammers will never bother to 'announce' themselves... they can't when they're using autodiallers to try and connect to as many number as possible. Suspected fraud Automated call saying they are calling from Royal Mail because parcel hasn't been delivered twice as nobody was home and to press button for English or Chinese. Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Indian Lady claims to be from Google. Wants my account number, but she knew the first part. I just didnt trust her.
As of writing, 3 different numbers tried to call me today (020 8956 2943, 020 8956 2230 and 020 8956 2601). They all start with 020, I don’t know anyone who owns those numbers, maybe the same individual is using different numbers to call me. Likely a fraud and now it’s harassing.
