Received a call on my mobile today - recorded message purporting to come from HMRC. I hung up as I suspected this to be another scam call.

Claimed to be BT but isn't.

Automated message " our records show you have not claimed your refund press 5 or 9 to have your number taken off" The problem is what is the refund for ???? .don t press 9 it tells them phone line is live.

Two calls (both recorded messages) in just over an hour from this bunch and I have reported them to the TPS - I suggest you do too.
