SCAM Third Chelmsford number blocked today. They hung up when I answered but upon dialling the number displayed, was met with automated message saying CB Brokers or CD Brokers. Suspect it's the same scumbags who have been scamming my elderly mother for a number of years by signing her up for appliance insurance for appliances she doesn't own. This number rang me yesterday. It was a recorded message saying money had been taken from our account by Amazon and also a money transfer. It then rang off. This is a scam number. DO NOT ANSWER IT. I HAVE NOT HAD A MONEY TRANSFER AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY MONEY TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT FROM AMAZON...BEWARE !!!!!!!

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

SCAM this number is made to look like a local (to me) number which is why I answered. Automated voice saying that two unauthorised transactions had been made on my card and that I should press 1 to talk to an agent. Please don't fall for this scam.

Fraud, Dangerous, Scam Rang this morning saying there was something wrong with my PC, Luckily I was here at my motheer at the time.. Targeting OAP and vulnerable people such like. Quizzed him more about being the problem, being IT support myself and he put down the phone.

This person is scamming people and doing bank fraud and stealing money up to 7-10 thousand pounds everyday.

Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.
