SCAM, saying they are from Virgin Media but they could not tell me my address.
Caller claimed to be our washing machine insurer, definite scam, we do not need insurance as I worked for a domestic appliance repair company.
Automated message call suggesting they are from HMRC with a returned note and action to follow up on. Number is not listed anywhere and HMRC usually doesn't ring you directly!

This is an unknown number. They rang today but left no message. I have been plagued by calls from 3 different Manchester numbers over the last 3 days...
Typical Scammer. Asking for your bank or crypto currency addresses. Pretend that they are transferring you money but failed

She proceeded to call me Mr William (my first name) and said they had done a search on me and found that I had been scammed (untrue) (my new isp did a search on me last week and found no trace of me online) She asked me to tell her what happened. This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.

Some one called me on the number saying they are calling about a sunlife policy which i do not have, i tried to tell them i don't have a policy and told me to f off, very nice ... this is a market research number...

When answered could hear background noises but caller didn't say anything so I hung up.
It's the 'the warranty on your washing machine has expired' scam. They will ask you to set up a direct debit, hoping to get your bank details. Quite persistent. If you play gormless and keep them talking you will stop them phoning someone else!

This number is used by scammers. My experience is that they advised me that my PayPal account had been used suspiciously, and invited me to call this number and get the supposed transaction cleared. What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.
Says it's from revenue n customs automated message. Joke had this message several times. HMRC do not ring you.
