Missed the first call from this number around lunchtime. Received a second call at 5:20pm the same day. Thought it was a recruitment agent so answered. Turned out to be an English chap claiming to want to speak to me about a car accident. He knew my full name and postal address. I told him there was no such accident and to remove my details from his database immediately. I then hung up. Something of a worry that he had so many of my personal details.
I was contacted by these people and when I pointed out that my number was registered with the TPS I was told this it was not a sales call but an advisory call! I have made a written complaint pointing out that they are breaking the Claims Management Regulation rules and that I will be reporting them to the Regulator. I have also reported them to the ICO.

If enough of us do perhaps they may realise they should control who they let use there service

Automated call with female voice for the 2nd time in 2 days. She claims to be from BT informing me of suspicious activity and that I risk disconnection (and I've had a few of these before from various other numbers). I'm not even with BT Internet, therefore it MUST be a SCAM!

Suddenly started getting calls from this number, sometimes twice a day. They sent me a text message saying from Mackenzie Hall and asking me to text back quoting an account number which they gave me. I ve never answered calls or text, never had a debt other than a mortgage (now paid off) and had new mobile number within last 3 months so how have they got my number and why are they bothering me!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Received a cold call from the number: 0121 6393161 The call was made to our 11 year old son. It frightened him as they were very pushy and unaccepting of what they were told.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 13849490xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with mortgage review company, PPI, accident chasers, insurance claims. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Guys did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
