What a giant surprise, a mid afternoon silent call from a spoofed mobile number. I m sure to have missed something good there!

Cold called me said they were the Hearing Clinic in Derby asked if l worked in a noisy industry took my details Rang back to book a home hearing test. Next day rang again to book hearing Test with no record of me By now l am suspicious l rang them and asked them to bring up my details on their computer but couldn t do that because they were using the phone. Called today, the lady was polite but had incorrect information about my work history. Said my number had been given through Reactive Media - another company that is rated untrustworthy - no idea how they got my number (I am on TPS). Must have been trying to sell something, maybe insurance, but didn t get that far!

Called to advise me I needed a pension review. Incorrect and out of date information given by them, called using a number I ve never given out to anyone as its in a device with voice calls forwarded to my other phone. Divulged private details without authentication. Definitely sounds like a scam.

Just been contacted by this number,claimed to be from(cooperative energy)asking for an up to date reading of my meters.I normally supply them online at the beginning of the month(which is only 2 days away) I gave them the readings and then they asked if they were located inside or outdoors.They also asked if they were accessible to an engineer should they need to call???????? This has all the makings of a SCAM.I have notified my energy provider regarding this matter
