I'm a very local business, so when I see a london code come up, I don't answer. Now their calls are going direct to voicemail. This is a call centre based in Wales who were calling on behalf of the Vote IN campaign for the British European Referendum. The number they use has been spoofed using illegal equipment to change the number from its true origin. I have been informed from a friend who is one of the chief engineers at BT headquarters in Martlesham Suffolk that this practice is illegal as it interferes with BT's telephone exchange network.

Asian guy going on about nuisance calls. "Well you are a nuisance call" Didn 't draw breath and carried on talking even when I tried to answer. He said I had registered with them! I denied that.
