Got a text from this number (in the middle of the damn night!) saying it was from wewantyourcar.com . I don t care, I m not selling my car. I gave my number to Severn Trent Water the other day so I m wondering if they ve sold my details on. Scumbags.
They rang us up and offered £1500 loan with £150 deposit and today we rang them up and there is no answerNot sure if it is a scam but it looks like a similar number.

I was called on this number at 9.30am today advising me that my Amazon order had been charged to my credit card. I may be wrong but I am not aware that Amazon had opened a depot in Orpington-tried to call the number back but it was blocked. Yet another scammer preying on people. What can be done to close these scams down-surely BT or OFCOM must be able to trace the number to an address and the take action against them.

Guy calls me up to tell me that my TV is now covered by a cheaper plan because I ve made no claims. Now I have two years cover for the price of one. I then ask if it s the policy I ve taken out through Sky and I m met with silence. Having said hello a few times I am then cut off. I ask myself if I ve paid for the call by answering it?

Absolute con. I googled the number for Argos in Norwich and got the 118469 number and thought it looked odd but dialled it to find it was a directory. They asked what number I wanted and I said oh I thought I was calling Argos. They said no but would you like the number so I said yes. Surely they gave an obligation to tell me I would be charged £7 to have it read out to me! A total scam and rip off.
