first a phone call from 02080681599 for me to pay to receive a parcel, block the number, now 02039910387, same story I think they are scammers, trying to get the money and that is it, maybe you pay every month a amount of money I do not know, but we been there before.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.

Could not pronounce my name and offered a discount on all my white goods as I hadn't claimed in the last 6 months..... Had my address and postcode then for their records asked for Bank sort code ..... you can guess what said then !

Unsolicited silent cold call, we never deal with any cold caller so they waste their time. Scammers, beware this number.
