SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

SCAM Scam number claiming to be the utilities registration office. This is not a thing.

Unsure about this number. Text came through telling me to book a PCR test with a link to click. Didn’t click but causes unnecessary concern by saying I have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Omicron.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

SCAM. Called just before midday today (25/03/22). A male, southern English, recorded(?) voice on a line that seemed to be breaking up assured me that I was entitled to a free medical alert pendant. Scam! Have nothing to do with anyone calling from this number!

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.
