SCAM - Multiple calls on Christmas Day. Asked to remove my number form their records. They rang back again an hour later saying I would be charged for legal time spent on my claim if I didn't cooperate! Who are these people, this is disgusting.

I ve had three calls today from 02088523462 five yesterday, every time trying to convince me that they are "Microsoft technical" that my computer is "sending them errors". I know this is bs and decided today to have a nice long conversation with them about my background in networks engineering and how I know it is bs, but I understand that the guy on the other line is only doing his job and reading a script and that if he doesn t get abusive with me we should be able to resolve this. This number rang today at 08:45am. I work shifts so was very annoyed at being woken up and answering the phone only to find out it was one of these scam calls. Put the phone down on them immediately.

Standard call from someone asking me about a crash I apparently had. As usual, I acted as though the call was expected and asked them to hold the line whilst I went to get my book which has all the details relating to the incident in it. They waited 7 and a half minutes before hanging up - not even close to the record of 23 minutes. Poor efford. 4/10.

This is a company called Secure Homecare Ltd, trading as 247 Assist. They purport to provide homecare services such as pendant alarms etc. Once they have an elderly persons phone number they ring regularly, approxiately once every 2 months and sell a further item - usually in the region of about £135- £150.00. We were able to obtain a refund for the last one sold completely unecessarily to my mother - it took about a month to get a refund. We asked them to ensure that they removed details from their databas
