George called and asked to speak to a director. Wouldn't give any details on surname, company or what it was regarding.

Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I immediately asked her the name of the energy company she worked for. She immediately ended the phone call. Obviously a scam.

I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - 1494957974 and 1494957975, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... People please did someone answer it? Who is behind this number?

Received a cold call from the number: 0121 6393161 The call was made to our 11 year old son. It frightened him as they were very pushy and unaccepting of what they were told.

Automated message from “HMRC” saying there is a fraud case against me and if I didn’t dial 1 to be put through to their office then there would be a warrant for my arrest and I’d be arrested shortly

Claimed to be HMRC ON RECORDED BOUCE MAIL SAYING THEY WERE STARTING A CASE AGAINST ME, asked me to press to speak to my case person - I I put phone down, what a scam!

Telemarketing

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Probably I am wrong with this one but started

Fraud

The man said he was from BT and that a virus had been downloaded on to my device and was I in front of my device.At that point I left the phone for about Minutes and when I went back it was dead.

Chap with very strong Indian accent calling himself James (hmmm) telling me he was from BT internet and that someone had accessed my internet. I didn’t let him get any further. Told him I didn’t believe a word and put the phone down. STRONGLY AVOID.
