I have been called 3 times by this number over the last 2 weeks - often at highly inconvenient meal times. It appears to be cold calling fund raising drive linked with University of Birmingham (I am an alumnus). I got a call from the above number on 9th May 2014 early evening. I am Ex-Directory and registered with TPS to stop cold calls. Nems is a Market Research company so the law does not prevent them from annoying people by calling them. I frequently travel internationally with my work and to be woken up with a cold call when I am trying to get some sleep after 20 or more hours traveling is annoying beyond all belief. To be fair when I said we do not accept cold calls of any kind the girl said fair enough

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
