SCAM / SPAM Claiming to be from Visa/Mastercard to tell me that my card has been used for a purchase in a foreign country - the amount £647.-- and to press 1 to stop the fraudulent use!!!! Very much a scam so be very aware and cut the call and do not press any numbers as they will pretend to be your credit card supplier. Be on your guard and do not give out any information.

Don t very often speak to cold callers but did today and was told it was a government backed scheme to replace old windows with new at discounted prices. I told the guy I was not interested at the moment, he said if I had a quote now I could keep that quote until I needed to replace my existing windows. I agreed for somebody to come and measure the windows on condition they measured and left, he jokingly (I thought) told me they would not be staying for tea and biscuits.
