Cam call from a company called Alliance Hide Solutions (or Alliance Hive Solutions?) about a non existent car crash. I am on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) which should prevent scam calls. Where do these people get out telephone numbers from? So annoying. Harassment.

Have rung twice quite late in evening. Neither time was I available so rang back to chaek. Guy said was Life Insurance co and was rude when I said not to ring again.
This company is part of a plethora of so-called newspaper publications (South East Telegraph; Western Guardian etc.) attempting to pose as reputable companies. They do their research to see which newspapers businesses have advertised in and then call pretending to be them asking for money. They act very familiar - as though they ve chatted with you before and attempt to stay on the line whilst they send you a confirmation email that they want you to reply to there and then. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. The caller could not confirm their registered address and said they do not have a website. She also asked for my full name. I stopped her there and asked her to validate her company. She said she does not have that information and would need to call head office then call me back. Erm!
