I also have been getting these calls daily . A recurring theme of heavy Asian/Indian accents. THey have been asking me to complete a survey . My husband is ill and currently in hospital so the last thing I need to is to have both silent and abusive calls from these people. I onder why they keep ringing the same numbers expecting to get a different result .!!

Well, this number is related to the RSPCA - check them at http://www.rspca.org.uk/home - but this number is used by a global call centre working for multiple charities, and the bad thing is that they share the database of numbers, so can call you not only in the name of RSPCA then... Probably I will block this number, it became just a nuisance...

Brighter Homes called me today on this number offering vouchers for double glazing etc. I told them I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and not to call again. This company uses pressure selling techniques to sell double glazing. The company was featured on the Watchdog rogue traders program. Search Brighter Homes Watchdog to see video of undercover filming of companies selling techniques.
Had phone call today from this firm saying my wife s Dyson Vacuum Cleaner was due for servicing. Told them I did not want it serviced. What servicing does a vacuum cleaner need? just regular emptying & filters cleaning. If it has a major fault then bin it and buy another. Dyson have a 5 year warranty anyway.
