Sounds well dodgy! this number has phoned me 4 times over last 2 days, says from bt open reach and something about my router - very difficult to understand. I would comment dangerous and harassing!!!

Woken up by a call from this number at 7.33am. No message left so clearly a scam caller. These intrusive and annoying sorts of calls are occurring with increasing frequency. I suspect that this was another coming from abroad but disguised to look like a UK number. The sooner such calls are stopped by telephone providers the better.
Do not know who called as I did not give them the time to say who they were. An Indian sounding man wanted to speak with another family member (who uses my address for parcel delivery, he is always at work) so clearly his name and my address are being sold on to scammers. Be careful with this one.

I missed a call from this number. When I called back there was a recorded message saying Lloyds Bank had called me. No action was required and they would try to contact me later. I called Lloyds Bank on their registered number and they knew nothing abiut the 08081430173 number so I cannot confirm whether it is genuine or nkt

Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

Short calls, several times. When I answer, they called me by my first name, as though she knew me? then went on about my Aviva insurance that I have recently cancelled? I HAVE NEVER HAD AVIVA INSURANCE, this is obviously an unscrupulous company fishing around for information. Obviously I hung up and then blocked the number on my mobile.

Received call apparently from a bot at Santander, on a mobile number I had given them. It appeared to know my name & day/month of birth, and details of two recent transactions I made on the account. It asked for only very limited information (year of birth) and confirmation that the transactions were genuine (they were). So, probably OK.
