This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.

Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. I have twice received calls last week from somebody (Roger, I think) claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. He first asked for somebody who has not worked here for several years. I asked him to send the new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request and claimed it was impossible. I told him to call back later in the week when he had sent the email. He did from this number and came out with the same drivel

This is for the government eco4 scheme, the gentleman who called was trying to qualify people for the free incentive. from what I gather they are putting people through to government contractors, if you qualify. I have oil heating, so i was told that there was no funding at the moment. polite gentleman, who said that if i did qualify all the contactors that are assigned to the customer can be checked on line or through cheka trade etc. any company that can be checked through those measures sounds ok.

SCAM Woman with strong foreign accent claimed to be from 'BT technical department' (immediately obvious not genuine) and said they had received notifications that my internet was being used by others fraudulently. Pointed out BT not my provider which she ignored, she then tried to guess some letters from my email to 'send me a verification' and when I said that wasn't my email, accused me of lying!!!! Presumably hoping I'd supply my actual email.

I had several calls from the company Web Security Experts with regards to renewing computer security, saying that 4 years ago I paid a membership fee, which I have no knowledge of knowing. They have threatened to take money from bank account. I searched from email and other correspondence from them but cannot find nothing. Just had a call from this number saying they were from National Accident Line. Definite scam. They were asking about an accident I had a few months ago and that I was due compensation. SCAM This is a proper scam. They are pretending to be ee and they are trying to give you an update. They knew some bits about me when they called but I got suspicious when they started asking for bank details. They changed my account password and ordered an iPhone 14. I called ee straight after I spoke to them as I was suspicious. It turns out they even changed my email as I couldn’t access my account anymore!!!!!!!

Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm (Tree & Landscaping Services) who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them over £600 for about an hour with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to a bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.
