Lots of calls where I answer the phone but noone speaks

I blocked this number on my phone only to get called by a very similar number a little while later, its outrageous how personal information is given freely between organisations.

They just called me and asked "is this immigration?". Something seemed off about it so I googled the number and this page came up. Very strange.

3 calls from this number today (19/09/2018) to my work telephone number. Hangs up immediately I give name of company. Really irritating.

Hsd a call offering a Bank claim service, they said I applied 3 months ago. Man had a strong Indian accent. Not sure if it was a scam call or legit.

Computerised scam call saying it is, HMRC and they have fraud case registered against your name and, asking you to press a number in keypad.

14 Dec 2021 - Spam caller. I didn't accept the call, so rejected it upon my phone ringing as mine always tells me when it's a spam call during the ringing. Have since blocked it as I'm not as gullible as the spammer thinks. No idea who the spam call was from, but from experience I knew it was one of the many spam calls I've been getting for the past ten days at least. Apparently the TPS web server is down, so they had to contact me by phone and not email. This is the 2nd similar call today. My TPS registration will expire tomorrow. Do not believe them, as TPS *never* phone customers!!
