This number said (Asian accent) they were market research and wanted me to confirm my name and address. He has called me twice in the past two days. He said I am owed ?2,000 in PPI. He then asked me to confirm my age, address, name etc. I didn t want to give out my details to him and he said I would receive some documentation in the post from my bank. After refusing to give him my details, he ended the call. A piece of advice- give these scammers fake details (play them at their own game) and lead them up the garden path.
Sounded like it was dialled from a Payphone (though I could be wrong) as the "beep bop" noise happened for several seconds, before I heard someone on the other end hang up on me.
