Caller from this number stated that hmrc were giving back tax paid on ppi claims. I was due over £6000! Proceeded to ask me help to fill R40 form, my date of birth and then my national insurance number. At that point I asked her to send me the form as I didn't want to give my details. I think this could be a scam.

I recieved a phone call and i missed it , dont know who it was
It was silent for 5 seconds then someone started speaking. They said answered with travel advisory....how can I help? I said you called me and they hung up.
Phone rang, silence then a click. They almost got my name right and told me they would be sending me a letter with a refund from a recent financial transaction, didn't specify which one. I suggested that the caller was probably better off seeking gainful employment elsewhere and should stop wasting both my and her time. I have no doubt this is a scam or con.

Didn't answer 2nd time they called today as apparently when they called me earlier to say I had been involved in a car accident they didn't believe me when I said I hadn't. Maybe I was and I don't remember, must have been in my sleep
Automated message pertaining to be contacting me about suspending my National Insurance number due to illegal activity. Claimed it was time sensitive that I speak to them urgently to avoid having assets frozen and being arrested! Awful message!!

SCAM - Pretending to be Microsoft and they download Anydesk on your PC, run some commands and show you the "threats" on your PC. They then run something that shows banking details and they direct you to go to your online banking so they can assist in fixing your security with your banking. (I am in IT and an elderly customer got tricked by this).
