Persistent silent call-what is the hell is the point?
M&S Bank Card Security called regarding cloning of my M&S card for a transaction in Australia which they had declined. I had just returned from Sorrento Italy where I had used my card.
The man said he was from BT and that a virus had been downloaded on to my device and was I in front of my device.At that point I left the phone for about Minutes and when I went back it was dead.
i just had a txt from 0902 394 1989 stating " you have requested to transfer your number to another device. This change will be made within 24 hours. If you did not make this request please call: 0902 394 1989" This has to be a scam as I did not make any such request
Hung up as I picked up the phone.

Definitely being used by scammers even if this has been verified as being Nat West's telephone number. I had a call from them asking for my personal details. I asked her for her for hers and she hung up after I insisted. Nothing wrong with my bank account (I checked afterwards).
