Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16043109xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with insurance marketing, accident claims, PPI, financial management (loans/debts) - just usual stuff. Paid number This number appeared twice in my mobile phone bill as chargeable "Picture or Multimedia Messages". I have no idea who the number belongs to. This mobile phone is a "second phone" which has only been used to make one phone call and send one SMS text.- I've used it for data and local wifi data connections. I'm guessing there's an app or website I've used that somehow is sending these multimedia messages?

This number calls selling solar panels and is a real pain.
SCAM text message received from this number claiming to be from HSBC. Message states it detected new device used for HSBC access and to click on link provided to confirm device. Can't think why a bank would use a mobile phone number to text messages to it's customers. I'm not even a customer of HSBC and the location map of the number shows it in the middle of a field of nowhere!
